Wedding in Thailand

There are many ways in which you can get married – the choice is yours. Here are the most frequently used ones (we can arrange a combination of Western Style and Thai Style wedding as well):

• to get married in a church, (traditional Western style) - a religious, legal wedding can be performed in Jungle Village as well,
• to get legally married in your home country just before you travel to Thailand. It will save you a lot of time and money as well and make everything simpler. We will then re-enact the wedding ceremony wherever you like, and the exchange of rings will take place here in Thailand. Everything will be performed here as if it is your real wedding day – the least expensive solution.
• to arrange a civil marriage before a registrar (legal marriage ritual) on the location you have chosen (if possible),
• to arrange a traditional Thai marriage before 3, 5, 7 or 9 monks (a non-legal marriage ritual). We can set up a ‘Buddhist temple’ in Jungle Village Hall the night before or make the arrangement in the nearby temple. A traditional Thai style wedding will usually start in the morning at about 09:00, including a traditional Thai ‘kan-maag’ procession and Thai dancers. This arrangement would be ideal for Silver Wedding couples who want to ‘renew’ the marriage ritual.
